By  Sonare

Sevenoaks,

St Luke's Church

30 Eardley Road Sevenoaks TN13 1XT

Saturday, June 6 • 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Overview

A love story between music and lyrics, featuring works from Haydn, Chilcott, Bob Dylan and more

Sonare presents Musica Poetica: a celebration of the relationship between music that moves us, and the text that brings it to life.

These concerts will dig deep into the very heart of how music, language and lyrics influence each other, and how the result is music that is so much more than a sum of its parts.

Taking in music from Howard Shore's "Lord of the Rings" soundtrack, a drinking song from Haydn, Bob Dylan reworks and words from Shakespeare and Maya Angelou, Musica Poetica promises to be a thrilling ride!

Whether you're a lover of classical music or you're trying it out for the first time, don’t miss out. Book now to secure your tickets, with a discount for advance bookings and under-35s.
